Additional Learning Support - Specialist Tutor

Remedy are looking for dynamic tutors and teachers who strive to make a difference to young people's attainment.

 

We are looking for educators experienced working with disadvantaged children and those with learning and/or behavioural difficulties.

 

Remedy Tutors have ongoing referrals in around the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

 

Working closely with local authorities, we have been commissioned to provide educational support to students falling into the following categories - Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, NEET, excluded, home educated, young offenders, teen parents, those with medical needs, those with SEMHs, SEBDs and SEN/Ds.

 

You would be working on a case by case basis, teaching in either the student's home or at a nearby outreach provision and should be a confident and empathetic educator.

 

You ideally should have:

 

  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum in your core subjects

  • At least 2 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification
